One of my favorite places ever! My Great-grandmother; Grandmother; and Mother + 2 aunts & 1 uncle are resting in our family plot in the old historic section. I am very proud & have spent many a peaceful time there with my Grandmother & Mother, back in the day, remembering fondly. Even grabbing a to-go lunch at Kings BBQ & sitting beside my family peacefully reflecting on the good times. Rest in peace. I miss you!!!!
Tour was amazing! All the ladies that work there are volunteers and very knowledgable. Tiffany windows in the church were incredible! Story of the Siege of Petersburg was particularly sad but encouraging. Had a great but hot day there. Worth the visit
Best collection of Tiffany stained glass windows in the South. Michael was very informative and helpful with answering questions. Part of history and art that needs to be seen..

We went to blandford cemetery today to visit my father in law who has been there for 5 years and to this day there is still no grass at his plot we have called and complained about this several times and even put down our own grass seed. The grass has not been cut in awhile and there were ticks all over us when we left. when we got to the grave site his wreath was knocked over and the grass had grown over his stone. don't you pay for perpetual care when you buy the plot this is ridiculous wouldn't you want it to look nice for visitors on Fathers Day. How many times do we have to complain about this. Also there were several grave sites that were torn up and a above ground grave site with 3 graves where the cement boxes were torn up and fallen in. So my question here is where does our money go when we pay for our loved ones? What are the workers doing while they should be taking care of our loved ones?
