It has mold and mildew. Not even 30 days in unit. Mice done chewed in my furniture.
The only issue we actually experienced was when we filled out the paperwork, my wife was not included on it.
Over-all, this is an excellent storage facility with a considerate staff. Thank you AAAA Self Storage!
So far so good! The space is quiet and secure. I had no issues getting the unit and everything is accessible.
Not pleased at all of the service and condition.
The on-site manager even took us to check the unit before assigning us a unit to ensure that we were happy with it. The first unit we looked at had some water damage in the ceiling tiles, so we moved on to the next one. That one had no issues, and we accepted it for our use.
RENTER BEWARE!!! Manager is completely unprofessional. She will speak to you as if you were a child, and will hang up on you when the conversation is not going her way. Office reeks of cigarettes and cat urine. Husband is also the maintenance man. He rides around on the golf cart and stops to make inappropriate sexual jokes and advances. It is bad enough that they have a mice issue, but they also allow their pets to use the bathroom on the premises!!
Upon moving in, the unit we wanted, was in poor condition so we asked to have it switched. We filled out the paper work and got a new unit. Upon coming back over the break to get our stuff, the lady that helped us told us that our stuff had been moved out months ago. This was extremely frustrating and scary considering I am from across the country and only stored my stuff here for school. We explained to the lady that it was impossible for our stuff to be gone and showed her the storage unit we were given and she almost refused to let us get our stuff out of the updated unit until the conversation got heated and she began yelling at us. When we finally convinced her to open the unit, we found our stuff there and she continued to yell at us to get off her property and insisted that she would call the police if we didn't. She blamed us for being upset over the disappearance of our items, despite horrible paperwork keeping on the company's part. We will not be using this company again.
I was not pleased. I secured a 10×15 and paid for it but was given a 10×10.
After pricing several storage options around Fort Lee, my wife and I found the best price here. Not only did they have the best price, we weren't required to buy their lock or put a specific type of lock on the unit. Those were extra charges for other locations, on top of the higher price!
