Extremely rude and mean campground manager. He is an older man that goes around being rude about everything to everyone. The place has a problem with cats on the loose. I forget my trash on the pick nick table outside when I went to the store (was meaning to go to dumpster) and the cats tore into it yet I was yelled and and told I should have put it in dumpster. Dumpster has trash all around it! No full hook ups for extended stay as they are all taken up from the people living there. People have junk everywhere around their campers if they live there tools mowers (they don't mow your spot) but will get told kids can't have toys outside. Pool was green and growing slime. Laundry room is so hot no a/c at all but they expect you to stay with laundry at all times.
Amazing campground and amazing staff! We travel for my husbands work and this has been by far our favorite place yet! There are some party animals but that's usually only Saturday and not the campgrounds fault! I'd recommend this place to anyone! The staff works SOOO HARD TO KEEP THIS PLACE LOOKING GOOD! The permanent people do kinda let their lots look run down, cluttered and trashed but everyone here is nice.
The sites were very tightly packed however. Nothing special here ,Except for the Blue Grass festival across the lake.
From PA. We came for the truck show so the location is great. But Will not be back. Website very misleading. It does not show that over half the camp ground has people living in it. Very trashy campground. A rude man came into our campsite to tell us our dogs needed to be put on a leash (dogs are well trained and werent bothering anyone) but there is dogs running around every where with no supervision and dogs unleashed in the sites where people are living. If you are going to put rules in place make sure its not just for people that dont live here. Nothing for kids to do other than a crappy playground or get hit by speeding cars within the campground. Wish we would have saved our money for a nicer campground!! Sites are VERY small.
Thank goodness this campground was not full.. We had not made reservations to stay in this area. It was late and the young lady stayed late after closing time to accommodate us, she gets a 5/5.
Friendly folks. Lots of nice new lounge chairs. Very diverse group of ppl lounging by the pool. Little Shop by the pool offering snacks, packaged foods, and ice cold drinks. Also has a cute new playground beside the pool, and a beautiful view of the lake surrounding it all. The only thing I can see needing improvement was that the pool water is greenish. Like there's alot of urine in it. Overall tho, it's a good place. If the pool wasn't green I'd give it 5 stars.
