Aside from the dismal location and area surrounding this place. The hotel itself could use a remodel. There's no ventilation in the rooms you can feel the moisture and humidity when you open the door. The pet fee is minimal however, a pet room means you get put into a smoking room, and believe me you can tell there were smokers here.The breakfast offered is good. And I enjoyed the lemon water in the lobby. The team of staff are helpful and friendly. Kudos to Levi and Antwuan.
Front desk clerk VERY friendly and helpful. BUT this place is disgusting!! DO NOT STAY! I was given a smoke smelling room down a nasty dirty hallway. I was moved to another room and had to go buy cleaning supplies and new bedding before I could stay here. Denied a refund because I didn't check in until after NOON so I could not cancel reservation. Called cust svc, left a message. Clorox wipes were black after cleaning desk, nightstand, phone, fridge door and TV remote. I will be sending the pictures to corporate
Dirty, trash overflowing in both front entrance trash cans, trash in parking lot, employees smoking under front vestibule. Had reservation here because was told it was pet-friendly however upon arrival they wanted to charge $25 per pet plus fill out some legal form and also told we could not leave pet in room. Should have been informed upon making reservation! I wouldn't have wanted to stay here anyway after seeing the outside, can't imagine what rooms looked like.
After 9 hours in the car we arrived ahead of my in-laws (who made the reservation) by a few hours. Despite having the confirmation information on hand, and a phone call from my Mother in Law, we were not allowed to check in because it was on their credit card.
I will say that when we finally made it to the room that they are clean and comfortable and appear updated.
The person at the desk then offered that we could our own personal card for the room. It was declined. After spending 30 minutes on the phone with my bank trying to figure out why it was declined, my bank rep asked the hotel to run the card again as there was no problem on their end. The front desk worker had run the card incorrectly leading to a delay that didn't need to happen. After that, there was no apology and the same employee then directed me to my room, but neglected to give me a key. I got it after I asked.
Worst Comfort Inn ever !
With two children age 4 and under in tow, I am flabbergasted that they couldn't step up the customer service to accommodate us and show some empathy. I know there is often hotel policy, but there is also doing what's right and in this case after spending an hour and a half trying to check in, I can't in good conscious recommend this hotel and I certainly hope this doesn't reflect on Comfort Inn as a brand.
Dirty best describes this hotel. Worn out used up and dated.
